The 25-year-old Britt has had several scrapes with the law, including an arrest in April 2011 in New Jersey following a car chase with police. He was cited for careless driving and fined. In June 2012 he was cited for resisting arrest in Hoboken, N.J., and in January 2013 he was questioned by police when a close friend was involved in a stabbing. Britt was suspended for the 2012 opener after an arrest that summer for suspicion of DUI. The Rams spent heavily for two other ex-Titans in free agency the last two seasons, cornerback Cortland Finnegan and tight end Jared Cook.
